Best Writer's Conferences To Attend

*Update: Be sure to check websites for all conferences listed for up-to-date information and changes due to COVID-19.*

Whether you're an introvert or an extrovert there is something for everyone at a writer's conference. From informative classes to special keynote speakers to one-on-one pitch opportunities. I wanted to share a few of my favorites to attend, plus some well-known annual events for you to consider.

1.) Write to Publish - June 17-20, 2020, Wheaton College, Wheaton, Illinois

I have visited Write to Publish as a faculty member and had a wonderful time not only teaching there, but also getting to meet with industry colleagues and eat with fellow attendees. Plus, the campus gave me flashbacks to my college days.

2.) North Carolina Christian Writers Conference - March 4-6, 2021, Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Liberty, North Carolina

I LOVED participating in this newer conference. Held at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, the lovely volunteers who blessed us were always smiling and the conference was a cozy time of learning, networking, and making new friends.

3.) Florida Christian Writers Conference - October 21–25, 2020, Lake Yale Conference Center, Leesburg, Florida

The FCWC is held on a lovely campus full of trees and sandy paths. I enjoyed traveling back to Florida and being a part of this conference hosted by Eva Marie Everson.

4.) Realm Makers - July 16-18, 2020, Bally’s Atlantic City Hotel & Casino, Atlantic City, New Jersey

5.) SOCAL Christian Writers Conference - July 8-11, 2020, Azusa Pacific University, Azusa, California

6.) Mount Hermon Christian Writers Conference - March 26–30, 2021, Santa Cruz Mountains Camp Center, Felton, California

7.) SheSpeaks - July 31-August 1, 2020, CHARLOTTE, North Carolina

8.) Maranatha Christian Writers Conference - October 1-3, 2020, Maranatha Bible & Missionary Conference, Norton Shores, Michigan

9.) American Christian Fiction Writers Conference - September 17-20, 2020, Hyatt Regency at the Arch, St. Louis, Missouri

10.) Colorado Christian Writers Conference - May 12-15, 2021, YMCA of the Rockies

Estes Park Center, Estes Park, Colorado

There are many more conferences, workshops, and conventions to visit and enjoy! What is YOUR favorite writing event to attend during the year?
